Los Angeles 'artillery' magazine visits with Alexandra Grant to peak at the alchemy that takes place in the artist's studio and gets a glimpse at her new body of work for an exhibition in September 2010 which Grant calls 'a math poem of haikus'. In addition Grant discusses some of the details for Watts House Project, a collaborative redevelopment of the residential block across the street from Watts Towers in South Los Angeles where she is proposing a large-scale sculpture of the word 'LOVE' in her signature text, on top of a family's home.
