COASTLINES: IMAGES OF LAND AND SEA, is an exhibition of over fifty paintings, photographs, and works on paper that explores how visual artists of the modern period (1850–present) have represented coastal landscapes. Drawn from the collections of The Dallas Museum of Art and from local collections, Coastlines will give visitors both an expansive and an in-depth portrayal of the coastal experience over time and in various media.
Marty Walker Gallery artist Douglas Leon Cartmel's oil on titanium painting 'Pacifica (Surface)', will be on view as part of this exhibition - concurrent with the artist's solo exhibition SUPER NATURE at the gallery.
