Gallery artist Barry Anderson is part of two exhibitions that opened last week:
  • Happy Tree Friends (or Standing: Tree as Agent, Index, Object of Desire), curated by associate director of the Charlotte Street Foundation Kate Hackman, opened at the Urban Culture Project's 'la Esquina' space in KC's Westside neighborhood and includes Anderson's Epic Escapism (2) on view until April 18, 2009.   • Anderson's new video Always Becoming Something (3), commissioned by the Salina Art Center is also on exhibit and runs until May 7, 2009. [MAP]
